This wedding was completed with a traditional Black, Red, & Silver color palatte and included hundreds and hundreds of red roses with accents of red and burgundy carnations. Don’t be fooled by the word “carnation”, this is an event you will want to watch. When designed correctly, what a crowd pleaser they can be. The client held her event in the Large Theater at the Columbus Athenaeum (614-222-6338) and had a Tuscan style head table that was lavish and stylish at the same time. Red rose combinations of Charlottes, Black Magic, and Black Baccara complete her theme. The pictures for this video were profided by Gideon Studio. The Flemming wedding was held at the new “Pinnacle Golf Club” of Grove City. Griffin’s Floral & Event Design helped with the event design, invitations, and floral decor of the wedding. The client went with a sleek contemporary feel with just a twist of traditional on the lower guest tables. Her wedding flowers include a beautiful Oriental lily called “Crystal Blanca”, freesia, roses, calla-lilies, and a combination of other Columbus wedding flowers. Accenting her Columbus bridal bouquet were petite stephanotis blossoms with crystal stud inserts to accent her dress. The brides tall centerpiece designs includes glass cylinder sets of submerged cymbidium orchids and apple blossom branches. The lower table wedding centerpieces included short glass vases with floating candles and a variety of white and cream flowers delicately displayed with an artful and unique twist. Here is another great event design by Griffin’s Floral & Event Design. The client was Ohio’s Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner’s daughter Kate. We worked with Kate on a combination of event design ideas along with the Athenaeum on unique room layout concepts. Kate went with a variety of centerpiece ideas from high, medium, and, low. Her final designs were completed on bamboo boxes along with a combination of various glass cylinders with varying levels in height. Inverted in the cylinders were fresh dahlia blossoms with bittersweet branches. The main color combinations were Mustard, Celadon, Merlot, and Chocolate.
